With the recent uptick in Covid-19 cases and some States and Cities beginning to close once again I thought I would start a series on ideas for fun things to do to keep you and yours entertained!
1.) VEHICLE SCAVENGER HUNT
Work together to come up with a list of some fun things you might see as you’re driving around, or perhaps on a bike ride. Some items to include might be: An old couch, a person using a Segway or one-wheel, someone carrying food, one squirrel chasing another, or someone dancing. These of course are just a few of nearly infinite options. I like to put different challenges in too, like: you must go down three allies you have not been down before or try not to run a yellow light (safely of course). This is a fun little thing to do that involves both of you working together but having fun outside of your home.
2.) INDOOR EXPLORATION
Truly what better time to try something new in the bedroom? One option to consider, if you haven’t explored this area of the WAM (Wet & Messy fetish) category, is Massage Oil or Oil play. It is quite messy and quite popular, so much so that Adam and Eve currently carries a card game you can get that will tell you various ways to use the massage oil on your partner. I do recommend using sheets that you do not mind getting oily. There of course are different ways to put that massage oil to use too. You could do a more Nuru style (body to body) massage where you both have the oil on and use your bodies to massage one another. Alternatively, you can do more of an amusing fun slippery wrestling session. For the latter, I recommend buying a little blow-up pool and some big beach towels (if they are not already on clearance, they should be soon!) and applying a bit of oil to the pool as your wrestling arena.
3.) FEELS ON WHEELS
For the very, very brave couples — why not get outside and learn how to rollerblade or skateboard together? I met this couple on my way to the local grocery store that was hanging out in an empty parking lot decked out with full knee, elbow, and wrist pads. I asked what they were up to because I did not see any equipment immediately. They told me that they had both fallen and the skateboards were down at the end of the parking lot. Reflecting back I wish I would have asked if I could have taken their picture for this article! But at any rate, James and Melisa explained to me that they had decided to learn how to skateboard together as a challenging fun thing to do during the pandemic. They both said it was nice to do an activity that they are both starting at zero on; that way the learning is equal and it has helped bring excitement to their relationship. Melisa pointed out that they even fall at the same time.
What a great idea!. Not only do you get to try something new and fun, but you also get to be outside doing something active instead of binge-watching shows, and you don’t have to drive a long distance to do it, like you would if you were to go for a hike. With just a little investment in your wheels of choice and some safety gear, you could be becoming a super cool bad-ass with your partner!
